At Biobest, division of BioFirst Group, we are pioneers in sustainable agriculture. We breed bumblebees, mites and beneficial insects and process crop protection products for growers worldwide. From our facilities, we carefully package and transport these living products to more than 60 countries, where they play a crucial role in promoting healthy crops through environmentally friendly applications. Our Supply Chain is unique and demanding. Because we work with live products with a short shelf life and strict transport requirements, we attach great importance to effective demand planning and material planning.
We are looking for a motivated, astute and ambitious Supply Chain Business Analyst who loves to learn, take initiative and grow with us. You have a strong customer experience mindset and are ready to make a real impact — alongside our End-to-End Supply Chain Process Owner.
Your mission?
In this role, you will act as a bridge between the business and our functional SAP team, supporting the implementation of changes and new processes, as well as the associated change management. You will analyze and help optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, in line with business objectives. You have a special focus on customer experience and customer intimacy: you see where processes affect the customer and actively contribute to a smooth and customer-oriented service. You will report to the End-to-End Supply Chain Process Owner, who will guide your development and growth within the team.
Your responsibilities
- You will work together with functional SAP architects and analysts to gain insight into system capabilities and business requirements.
- You will support and document end-to-end supply chain processes and help identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- You contribute to the successful implementation of supply chain changes and new processes within the company.
- You will analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for cost savings.
- You will help develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of the supply chain.
- You'll work closely with cross-functional teams — including procurement, logistics and IT — to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain processes.
- You actively map out the impact of supply chain processes on the customer experience: from order confirmation to delivery to aftercare. You identify bottlenecks and propose improvements that contribute to higher customer satisfaction and stronger customer intimacy.
- You support business users in adopting new processes and system functionalities, always with a customer-oriented view.
- You will help analyze root causes of problems and contribute to corrective actions to solve supply chain disruptions.
- You will report to the End-to-End Supply Chain Process Owner on process performance and improvement initiatives.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Economic Sciences or a related field.
- First insight into supply chain principles such as inventory management, logistics and procurement — or a strong drive to learn this.
- Affinity with process mapping and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau or Power BI; curiosity to develop yourself further in this.
- Experience with or interest in ERP systems (preferably SAP), WMS, TMS, CRM or Webshop systems is a plus.
- Lean mindset or interest in Lean methodologies.
- Willing to travel: about 20% of the time, depending on project requirements.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM) is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Affinity with master data management and its importance within supply chain processes.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French and other languages are a plus.
- You take initiative, are flexible, have a real customer experience mindset and genuinely want to learn and grow.
What do we offer you?
- A unique opportunity to contribute to more sustainable horticulture and to grow professionally in line with Biobest's evolution.
- A responsible and dynamic job in which you play a key role at the heart of the company.
- Extensive on-the-job coaching and job-related training — we invest in your development and guide you step by step.
- A steep learning curve in a complex, international supply chain environment with real impact on customers and processes.
- Flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, so you can start your working day stress-free.
- A competitive salary with fringe benefits, with real growth opportunities as you develop yourself.
