Currently, we are rolling out SAP S/4HANA in 27 (and counting) international subsidiaries. In this mission, the quality of our master data is crucial to serve as a reliable source of knowledge and information for sound decision making. As we are looking to optimize and automate data structures and reporting further, we are currently welcoming an SAP Master Data Agent to our IT team.
Purpose of the position
As SAP Master Data Agent you are part of the IT Data & Reporting team.
In the context of the international roll out of our ERP SAP S/4HANA, the importance of high-quality master data - covering customers, vendors, products, assortments and pricing - cannot be overstated. Master data forms the backbone of critical business processes, directly influencing operational efficiency, decision-making, and customer satisfaction.
Next to this, reporting across SAP and non-SAP subsidiaries also relies heavily on alignment, standardization and quality of master data across countries and entities.
Together with your colleagues of Data & Reporting, you are responsible for maintaining master data in SAP S/4HANA and various other platforms. You work closely with international business users to ensure data is accurate, complete, and aligned with business needs and processes.
You act as an expert-contact for master data topics, providing guidance and support to users, while safeguarding data standards and governance. In addition, you actively contribute to improving data structures, harmonizing data across systems, and identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
Your key responsibilities
- Ensure quality and timelines on the master data (customers, vendors , etc.) maintenance in the SAP platforms.
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on master data and maintain documentation of data processes and procedures.
- Identify and work on opportunities for process improvements and process automation to enhance data management efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data, align data management with business processes, and support data-related projects.
- Support projects during data migrations and enhancements.
What do we expect from you?
- You have a passion for accurate, day-to-day, data maintenance. You work patiently and structured to keep data clean and correct.
- Conceptual understanding of data structures is needed for this position.
- You can work efficiently with Office tools like Microsoft Excel.
- You have experience with ERP tools (SAP is a plus).
- You are enthusiast to work in an international context. Increasing efficiency through process automation and improvement is something you consistently strive to achieve.
- You speak a very good level of Dutch and English.
