Biobest and Bogaerts improve the compatibility of Entomatic™

Biobest, the exclusive distributor of Entomatic™, and Bogaerts, supplier of greenhouse logistics systems, are jointly launching the Plug In. This new solution enables growers to easily connect their Entomatic™ to the Qii-Jet TAV.  The Plug In includes electrical and mechanical modifications and facilitates smooth integration of both systems.

Seamless connection for greater efficiency

Entomatic™ is an automated dispenser that delivers accurate and even distribution of beneficial insects across the crop. The modular system, which is exclusively available from Biobest, comprises a dosing unit, control panel and blowers. Entomatic™ is often mounted on pipe rail trolleys in greenhouses. Thanks to the new Plug In, the Entomatic™ and the Qii-Jet TAV (spraying robot with tank) work seamlessly.

Mounting possible on new and existing trolleys

On request, Bogaerts can mount the Plug In onto existing Qii-Jet systems. New Qii-Jet systems can be ordered including the Plug In. The solution includes hardware modifications for cabling and a software tool that integrates control of the trolley and the dosing unit. This enables growers to operate both the trolley and the Entomatic™ dispenser using a single control panel.
